Perhaps the piece feels outdated. Perhaps it belongs to another era. Perhaps you’ve simply forgotten why you loved it.

Cavallo would like to remind you that the past is not necessarily finished.

The Reinterpretation is a personalized aesthetic service that gives one existing garment, accessory, or vintage-inspired concept a fresh place in the present.

Rather than copying an era or abandoning what came before, we examine its defining characteristics and explore how to make them relevant to your life today.

Because nostalgia should inspire the present, not trap us in it.

What can you submit?

• A vintage or inherited garment you want to wear differently.

• An older accessory you love but rarely use.

• A past fashion era or silhouette you’d like to reinterpret.

• An existing piece that feels dated but still has potential.

What you’ll receive

• A personalized digital reinterpretation of one garment, accessory, or defined visual reference.

• An assessment of the original aesthetic and the details worth preserving.

• Two contemporary styling directions that retain the character of the original.

• Practical recommendations for proportions, colors, textures, and complementary pieces.

• One opportunity for clarification or an in-scope adjustment.

How it works

01 · Request a reinterpretation. Book your service and select email or text message as your preferred contact method. Both contact details are collected.

02 · Tell us the history. We’ll contact you within 24 calendar hours of booking, including weekends, to understand the item or reference, what you appreciate about it, and what you would like to change. Photographs are welcome.

03 · The past meets the present. Once all necessary details are received and clarified, your personalized proposal will be delivered by email within two business days.

04 · Review the interpretation. You have until the same time on the next business day to request one clarification or reasonable adjustment within the original scope.

05 · The record is updated. Any eligible revision will be delivered within one additional business day. If no request is submitted by the deadline, the complimentary creative review period closes.

Before you book

This service covers one item or defined reference. It does not include physical alterations, garment restoration, authentication, historical appraisal, or sourcing rare vintage pieces.

Cavallo is a fictional editorial host. Your personalized creative recommendations are prepared by the Gelato Piano team.

Some things belong to the past. Others have simply been waiting for a better introduction.

Service Processing & Revision Policy

Borgo Piano processes creative services Monday through Friday, excluding designated holidays.

A business day means an eligible weekday, regardless of the number of hours worked internally.

Once your completed brief has been received and confirmed, your first proposal will be delivered within two business days.

After delivery, you have until the same time on the next business day to submit one revision request within your service's original scope.

If a revision is requested on time, your final version will be delivered within one additional business day.

If no revision is requested by the stated deadline, the creative review period closes and the proposal is treated as final.

Your exact revision deadline will be included in your delivery message.
